Ass chips and other absurdity
Well I finished my last day on the old job. I feel like I've been paroled.
I definitely learned a few things on this last job.
Number one being that people need to learn to wash their hands after using the can. If you don't have a strong stomach do not read on.
A few times a year the hell hole that I worked for deemed it necessary to take pity on us and provide us with 80% fat so called hamburgers and chips. Now you take the fact that about 85% of the guys I work with feel that they are not obligated to wash thier hands after going to the can.
Yet they can go into the breakroom and cram their newly minted ass hands into said bags of free chips.
Thus they become Ass chips! Hence you would never see anyone on my crew eat out of an open bag of chips. Let alone be brazen enough to use the restroom and not wash their hands.
Well when everyone is out enjoying this weekend of Thanksgiving here in the States just be sure if you have to use the facilities that you wash your hands after the fact.

Alfonso Soriano signs a eight year deal with the Cubs! Need I say more?

Well my weekend started out atypical as usual. Got off work at 6am Saturday morning and came home and crashed.
I woke up at 2 in the afternoon and was all wound up for some reason. So I decided to head to the gym to calm down. This taught me a very profound lesson, if football is on tv and my mind is occupied I can run a hell of a lot longer than I thought was possible.
I then picked up my woman from work, and found out that we were watching her niece a nine year old and her nephew a six year old until Sunday night sometime.
Which didn't end up being that bad thanks to the following Miller Lite, UFC, Happy Feet, and Yusuf or for those of you that are old school like me Cat Stevens new disc.
Thirty years and it's just like he didn't miss a beat. I'm really impressed with his new disc.
Well that's a wrap of my weekend in a nutshell.

Back to basics
I've been hitting the gym at least three times a week. I know it should be at least four. But it's a start.
I used to go four to six days a week, which I did consistently for about eight years. Somewhere along the line I lost my sense of direction. I forgot how good it felt to workout.
I forgot how how good it felt to experience the DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness). It is truly a pain that takes away the pain for me.
Next week I begin yet another new career. However this time I'm going back into a Union job. Can we say free healthcare, vision, and dental for myself as well as my familly.
Let's just say I'm gonna be a milk man. I guess now I can actually give a wink anytime I hear someone must be the milkman's kid!
Well that's all for now will update soon.

I got the job!

Good day
Yesterday was a good day. I was sick on Saturday and slept all but an hour. I intern woke up at 4:30 Sunday morning.
My lady woke up at about 5:30 so we decided that we might as well hit 8:00 mass. Which I hadn't done in quite a while. It's usually 4 Saturday afternoon or 11 am on Sunday.
We arrived at church at about a quarter til 8. Father Dan greets us with a good morning and then throws in, "so what do you think of Lou Pinella?", to which I answered," well I was thinking Girardi but Pinella will do."
Father Dan and I have had many conversations about the Cubs we're both big fans. I just don't understand why we can't put them in our community prayers. If anyone needs them its the Cubs.
After mass we headed out to do a little pre football shopping followed by watching football at a new sports bar in our neighborhood.
Cheap beer! $5 pitchers, not mini's but real pictures, and $1 Sam Adams. The food was good, big portions at a reasonable price.
The best part was only getting charged for about half of what we got. I made up for that by tipping our server $20.
The night cap was going to the Orpheum and seeing Australian Pink Floyd. It was an awesome show. But by the end of it I was definitely beat and needed to go to bed.

Maturing after all these years!
I've been in a relationship with the same lady now for almost a year. The sixth of this month it will be a year.
We don't always see eye to eye but it is good.
I haven't posted in quite some time many a concerts and many a parties have come and gone.
A few good friends have passed since my last posting also.
The Cubs still haven't won it but I still love them with all my heart.
Work has become the same old same old, but a new job opportunity is at hand. Hopefully I'll land it.
I'll be updating regularly from now on.
