Twenty years in the making? Will he or won't he appear?
These are the questions asked by numerous fans of Andy Kaufman, including myself.
I would love for his death to be an elaborate fake and cover up. Today marks twenty years since Andy Kaufman's death from lung cancer.
He told Bob Zmuda his writer, friend, and partner in crime that if he was faking it he would be back twenty years to the day of his death.
Now we all sit in breathless anticipation of what will happen tonight.
Bob Zmuda rented the House of Blues in Los Angelas for the occassion. There will be a performance by Tony Clifton and the Cliftones. Tony Clifton of course being a character created by Kaufman and Zmuda. Who both took turns playing him.
I guess we'll all just wait and see what happens tonight.

Well Sunday will mark 20 years since one of my heroes died.
Andy Kaufman died of lung cancer on May 16, 1984. He stated that if he was faking it he would be back in twenty years.
So Bob Zmuda his writer and friend is throwing a party at the House of Blues in Los Angelas. It would be great if he had faked it and he did comeback. Twenty years is alot of time for new material.
Unfortunately unless there was a cover up bigger than his familly and the coroner, he only lives on in our memories.
Today I decided to walk instead of biking. I pulled a groin biking last Friday that is still tender and walking seems less painful than biking. I ended up walking five miles by our local lake. It was a warm humid day but it was great.
I then got a call from the Home Depot about a job opening. So tomorrow I'm going for an interview. It will be overnights 10-6 Monday thru Friday, which are perfect hours for babysitting myself. Plus it allows me plenty of time to get other stuff done, for instance biking, lifting, volleyball, and golf. While I also look for other jobs.
I'm not sure maybe I should go back to college.
Oh and speaking of weird dreams the Indian girl was in my dream again last night. But this time it was later on we had twins that looked like they were about nine months or so. The funny part was they had blond hair and blue eyes. Ok I have brown hair, brown eyes and an olive complexion, and the Indian girl of course has dark brown eyes, and hair as well as an olive complexion.
But in my dream I'm sitting with twin boys both with blond hair and blue eyes. I know crazy shit.
